Dr. Evelyn Fajardo Marchena
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Costa Rica, with over 17 years of experience in both public and private hospitals, working in areas such as surgery, general medicine, and mental health. Her professional career has focused on comprehensive care for older adults, with a particular emphasis on post-operative recovery—combining clinical excellence with a compassionate, human-centered approach.
She has co-authored research in the field of nursing, with a focus on prevention and holistic well-being, reflecting her commitment to continuous improvement in Costa Rica’s healthcare system.
Currently serving as General Manager at Edad Dorada, she leads multidisciplinary teams, oversees care protocols, and ensures a warm, safe, and professional environment for residents and their families. Her humanistic vision, strong ethics, and extensive clinical background make her a key figure in the center’s operations and reputation
Dr. Fabian Villalobos Smith
Doctor of Nursing, graduated from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, with over two decades of experience dedicated to the care and well-being of older adults. His professional background includes direct care in post-operative units, operating rooms, and advanced recovery programs in both institutional and private settings.
He is bilingual and holds international certifications in lymphatic drainage massage from the International School of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery in Cali, Colombia, which enriches his holistic approach to health and wellness.
